Description
Utilizing Gallup’s CliftonStrengths® profile, this professional development program takes your talent themes to the next level. In CliftonStrengths®: Engaged, participants are given access to their Full 34 Profile, enabling them to explore their Top 10 Talent Themes and understand how to manage their lesser talents. Further, participants will learn how to build complementary partnerships to overcome challenges and achieve goals and develop strengths-based teams using powerful questions and detailed theme insights.
Program Objectives
- Identify and interpret your personal strengths: You will accurately identify your Top 10 CliftonStrengths® themes and articulate how these strengths influence your thoughts, behaviors, and performance.
- Apply CliftonStrengths® to overcome workplace challenges: You will apply your top talent themes to workplace challenges, demonstrating how to aim your strengths toward achieving specific goals.
- Develop complementary partnerships: You will explore and articulate how to form effective partnerships by leveraging complementary strengths to enhance collaboration and team performance.
- Manage lesser talents strategically: You will identify your lesser talent themes and develop personalized strategies to manage or mitigate their potential impact on performance and team dynamics.
- Contribute effectively to strengths-based teams: You will describe the characteristics of a strengths-based team and explain your individual value and role within a team context using the language of CliftonStrengths®.

About our Online Course
Our online course is designed to to be just as engaging as our in-person program. Through a series of interactive videos, worksheets, and reflection questions, you will be challenged to become more self-aware of your Top 10 Talent Themes and how they manifest in your life--whether at work or at home. Start anytime! This on-demand, self-paced program is delivered in our Lightspeed VT learning platform; it takes approximately four (4) hours to complete, but you can complete it at your own pace! You will receive online course access within two business days after registration.

Dr. Kaley Klaus is the Interim Director for Professional and Continuing Education (PCE) at Fort Hays State University (FHSU). She holds a bachelor’s in communication, master’s in organizational leadership, and doctorate in higher education leadership. Prior to her appointment in PCE, she was an assistant professor for leadership at FHSU for nine years, where she taught courses in leadership theory and organizational behavior, assessment, and improvement. Dr. Klaus also currently serves as the president of the Association of Leadership Educators. Her areas of expertise include organizational behavior and systems and leadership development. When not working, Kaley enjoys spending time with her friends and family, as well as her chihuahua, Lily, and when she gets the opportunity, likes to travel long distances for new food and nature views.
