Dr. Rachel Dolechek is an Assistant Professor of Business Communication at Fort Hays State University. She teaches courses in business, corporate, and managerial communication, professional development, and business education. Her research interests involve employability, business communication, and strategies for teaching and learning. Dr. Dolechek has fifteen years of teaching and advising experience across various roles in higher education. She is the recipient of the 2023-2024 Robbins College of Business and Entrepreneurship Faculty of the Year, 2023-2024 Service-Learning Faculty Fellow, and the 2023 Edmund Shearer Advisor of the Year. She previously served on the Steering Committee for the Kansas Academic Advising Network and is a member of the Association for Business Communication, Management & Organizational Behavior Teaching Society, and Phi Kappa Phi.
