FHSU recognized as an ACEP by the NBCC

Fort Hays State University's Advanced Education Programs, in collaboration with Professional & Continuing Education, are now offering continuing education opportunities in telemental health, in the form of microcredentials, designed specifically for mental health professionals.

These flexible, high-quality online courses allow you to strengthen your skills, expand your knowledge, and earn recognition for your professional development. We are proud to be recognized as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, No. 7807, by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). Each course is worth 6.0 hours of continuing education.

We currently offer three on-demand, online courses you can complete at your own pace:

  • Foundations of Telemental Health: Ethics, Legal Standards, and Best Practices
  • Advanced Clinical Skills in Telemental Health: Techniques and Modalities for Virtual Counseling
  • Telemental Health and Special Populations: Children, Adolescents, and Rural Communities

Each course is just $75 and has been carefully developed to provide practical, evidence-based training you can apply immediately in your practice. Finish all three courses to receive the digital credential.

Whether you’re just getting started with telemental health or looking to refine your advanced skills, these microcredentials are a valuable way to stay current, enhance your practice, and demonstrate your commitment to client care.
